ONA -- The Wheeling Park boys cross country team won a second straight West Virginia Class AAA state cross country championship under head coach Michael Jebbia.

The Patriots finished with 67 points, and edged Jefferson by four points. Cabell-Midland finished third with 93.

Park was paced by junior Kyle Gramlich, who finished 4th overall with a time of 16:27. He made all-state for a third year in a row. Junior Logan Wojcik was 7th overall with a time of 16:40, and made all-state for a second year in a row. Senior Russell Mulley was 8th overall (16:50), and senior Jason Bennett was 33rd overall (17:58). Senior Kevin Bucisk was 38th overall with a time of 18:04. Senior Ethan Chapman Casey ran an 18:06 and junior Greg Mulley ran a 19:08.
